Apple Dumplings! Nothing is more delightful than the scent of cinnamon & apples baking. Cozy up to apples in flaky pastry drizzled with brown sugar syrup.

– granulated sugar – cinnamon  – light brown sugar  – butter – water  – bourbon (optional) – apples – cream cheese dough  – egg

Ingredients

Boil water & brown sugar. Add cinnamon & optional bourbon.

Place apples halves in the pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Put butter & brown sugar into each half.

Cut 6" squares of dough. Place an apple half on each square.

Wrap the apples in dough and place them into the pan.

Pour the brown sugar syrup around the dumplings & bake until golden.
