Cranberry Scones

Light & fluffy Cranberry Orange Scones are perfect for breakfast, afternoon tea or snack time. Fragrant with orange zest & cinnamon, these buttermilk scones are bursting with tangy cranberries.

– all purpose flour  – baking powder – granulated sugar  – cinnamon – salt – orange – butter  – buttermilk  – vanilla extract – egg – cranberries

Ingredients

– Cut the butter into the dry     ingredients. – Stir in the buttermilk and egg. – Fold in the cranberries.

–Turn the dough out onto a lightly    floured surface. – Pat the dough to an 8" round. – Use a sharp knife the cut the    round into 8 wedges.

–Transfer the scones to a parchment    lined baking sheet.  –Brush the scones with buttermilk    and sprinkle with sugar. –Bake until golden brown.
